Stay Golden Athletics is a small, female-founded brand created by a former athlete. The Game Day Backpack is being brought to life through a preorder campaign. By supporting a preorder, you’re helping an independent creative project reach the production it needs to exist. This policy explains exactly how preorders, refunds, cancellations, and returns work — please read it before you order.
1. What a preorder is
When you place a preorder, you are reserving a product that is still being manufactured — you are not buying an item that is currently in stock. Your support helps us reach the production quantities required to make the product.
- Estimated delivery: February–March 2027. These dates are good-faith estimates and may shift due to manufacturing, materials, freight, or customs.
- Production minimum (MOQ): each size must reach a minimum of 500 preordered units before that size can enter production.
2. If we don’t reach the production minimum
If a size does not reach its 500-unit minimum by the close of the preorder window, that size will not go into production. If that happens, you will receive a full refund of every amount you paid toward that item, and we will notify you by email. You are never charged to keep a reservation that doesn’t reach production.
3. Refunds — the timeline that matters
Your refund rights depend on whether your size has entered production:
- Fully refundable before production. Any amount you’ve paid — whether a deposit or full payment — is 100% refundable at any time before your size reaches its 500-unit minimum and enters production. Just email us with your order number.
- Non-refundable once in production. Once your size reaches the minimum and enters production, amounts paid become non-refundable, because we commit those funds to manufacturing your specific order. This does not affect your rights for defective, damaged, or incorrect items (Section 5) or any rights you have under applicable law.
Where a deposit option is offered at checkout, your deposit reserves your unit and is fully refundable pre-production on the same terms above; the remaining balance is collected before your order ships, and we’ll email you a secure payment link when it’s time.
4. Shipping estimates and your right to cancel for delay
Because delivery is estimated for February–March 2027, this is a far-future ship date. Consistent with the U.S. FTC Mail, Internet, or Telephone Order Merchandise Rule, if we are unable to ship within the estimated window, we will notify you and give you the choice to either (a) agree to a revised estimated shipping date, or (b) cancel your order for a full refund of amounts paid. If you don’t respond to a delay notice, we will treat it according to the options described in that notice and applicable law.
5. When your order arrives — returns & exchanges
- Defective, damaged, or incorrect items: please contact us within 30 days of delivery and we’ll arrange a free replacement or a full refund, including any return shipping we ask you to pay up front.
- Change-of-mind returns: you may return unused items in their original condition and packaging within 30 days of delivery. Return shipping for non-defective returns is the customer’s responsibility.
- Refund processing: once we receive and inspect your return, refunds are issued to your original payment method, typically within 7–14 business days.
- We reserve the right to refuse a refund or return on items showing signs of wear, alteration, misuse, or damage not present at delivery.
6. Cancellations
You can cancel a preorder for a full refund any time before your size enters production (Section 3). To cancel, email info@staygoldenbrands.com with your order number.
7. Where we ship
We currently sell and ship within the United States only.

9. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The version in effect at the time of your order governs that order. Material changes will be posted on this page with a new effective date.
